About Me

I'd like to thank you for visiting my site. Since 2004, I have worked as an art director with a few of the top advertising agencies in Dallas, Texas and New York. During my experiences, I was exposed to many different forms of advertising such as print, web, broadcast, POP, direct mail, branding, and promotional advertising. With this, I am also experienced in Adobe CS, (Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design, etc), Sketch, and Power Point among other software on both Mac and PC platforms. I feel that being an art director stretches the mind and capabilities of the artist in order to grab the attention and challenge the thinking of the consumer. All this comes from the concept, which is the  foundation of the execution. What drives me is deciding how the message would be presented through many different mediums working towards the finished product.

"Success is going to bed proud of what you did that day and waking up the next morning ready to do it again."

As of Fall 2010, I participated in shows and programs with the Dallas-based group, ArtLoveMagic. With this  group, I was involved in art shows and charity functions that have raised thousands of dollars for local, national, and world wide charities through the members' artistic talents. This gave methe chance to give back through my talents. Also a founding member of the Just.Us.League, a free style art collective created by Jerod Davies. This group, like ArtLoveMagic, does art shows that benefit many charities by way of creating live murals every month that are sold at the end of the year for youth workshops and other events. In April of 2011, the J.U.L. hosted "Flood of Emotion", a benefit in which over 100 pieces of art were donated and auctioned for over $15,000 to aid the flood victims of Japan. In December of that year, J.U.L hosted an end of the year gala at the Hilton Anatol in Dallas, Texas to auction all of the murals created in 2011 to fund children's art workshops for the following year.

Born in Houston, Texas and raised in Dallas, Texas. Since the age of four, I’ve been evolved with art in some sort of way from painting to drawing characters in sketchbooks. Later, went to Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas and studied in the Ad Design cluster, played football and studied Tae Kwon Do at the Park South YMCA. From there, studied Communication Design in college. In the summer of 2001, I joined Os Malandros de Mestre Touro and began training in the art of Capoeira Angola de Sao Bento Grande. In 2003, graduated from Texas A&M - Commerce with a degree in Communication Design focusing on Art Direction.
In the fall of 2015, I moved to New York city to continue my career as an artist.
